Here is where I live:
Be as specific as possible. Enter an address, a nearby intersection or a postal code. You may also use the auto-locate button or adjust the map marker below.
As people are added to the big map, it will give an interesting picture of winter cycling in your area. For example, neighbourhoods and areas with lots of committed people may appear more "winter cycling friendly" than others.
Share your destination.
Add an address for your place of work or school. Be as specific as possible. Exact address is preferred. If you don't know the address, use a nearby intersection. This is an experiment. The resulting map will lump multiple markers together in the same spot. It could lead to a competition between businesses and schools to see who is the most bike-friendly destination. Who knows? If you are a bicycle courier or someone else who rides a bicycle in the winter for a living, yeah, hmm, just pick a random spot or something... we don't know... Everyone else, put something in here. If you work at home, well, run an errand.
Enter the name of your workplace (or school).
i.e. Microsoft, Harvard, Burger King, NASA? Be specific. Tell your coworkers to ride and get your workplace on the map! Don't let the employees at Apple, Oxford, MacDonalds, or the Russian Space Federation put your school or workplace to shame.
Share a bit about yourself.

Stay in touch
Share your email. Optional. Do it if you would like to receive a maximum of one short email a year. Its to remind you about Winter Bike to Work Day. We promise not to use it sign you up for random things on the internet. To our knowledge, none of us on the volunteer web team works for the CIA. In fact, you know what? We might not even send you an email at all. We prefer word of mouth. Its easier. Facebook and Twitter are the main mediums for this event. We are lazy. Writing emails is too much work. But yeah. Give us your email though, it won't hurt.
Prove you are not a robot...
Sorry for this. We want to avoid viruses and 3 year old kids populating the map with snowflakes. If you are a robot, great. Finally. Talk to us, we have some protected bike lanes that need plowing.
